About Four Flyways Outfitters

Waterfowl Outfitter & Guide Services...

Jeff Wasley

Four Flyways Outfitters, LLC is operated by owner and head guide Jeff Wasley for waterfowlers looking for the best North American hunting destinations available.

Our Cold Bay, Alaska hunt is conducted in and around one of the most remote and beautiful locations in North America – Izembek National Wildlife Refuge, a Wetlands of International Importance.  All of our hunts are conducted in areas with tremendous waterfowl concentrations and wide varieties of species present.  Through hard work, top quality gear, extensive scouting, and years of experience, we provide enjoyable and successful hunts for our guests.  Jeff is also a licensed Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard.

We have some very talented guides helping us in Cold Bay, and St. Paul Island, Alaska.  We are full-time waterfowl guides (150+ days a year guiding waterfowl) that focus 100% on waterfowl hunts.  Jeff has been avidly hunting waterfowl for over 30 years.  Our experience and commitment is unmatched in Alaska.

Waterfowl Conservation Supporters

The conservation of waterfowl and habitat in order to retain and sustain viable waterfowl hunting is what Four Flyways Outfitters, LLC is all about. From guided hunts to photography, biology, conservation organizations, and more, we are waterfowlers to the core.

Four Flyways Outfitters is a staunch supporter of waterfowl conservation groups. We are members and supporters of Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl.  We have donated hunts to Delta Waterfowl, Ducks Unlimited, Alaska Waterfowl Association, California Waterfowl Association, Nevada Waterfowl Association, Safari Club International and other wildlife and hunting non-profit organizations and chapters.

Four Flyways Outfitters, LLC follows all regulations and limits and demands that our guests do the same. This is our company policy and there are no exceptions.

Biology Work and Associated Publications

Jeff graduated with a biology degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2001 and spent five years working as a field biologist with the U.S. Geological Survey Biological Resource Division mostly in Alaska and also in California. This work included a variety of projects on different waterfowl species across a wide range of Alaska and beyond.

Jeff transitioned into guiding in Cold Bay, Alaska in 2006 and still maintains an interest in biology and management of waterfowl and continues to collaborate and collect data for various studies. He also serves on the Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Council for the Kodiak/Aleutian region. We are happy to help the resource, actively work to conserve wildlife and habitat for future generations, and advocate to maintain public access to these incredible public resources.

The following PDFs are a couple of publications that Jeff participated in with the USGS:
